Wilderness Southeast - Fish Got to Swim programs providing outdoor learning opportunities to underserved populations in the Low Country. They are always looking to partner with organizations, individuals, and schools to provide these experiences for our young people.

The Southern Environmental Law Center provides opportunities for young people to get involved in advocacy for our planet. Students can learn about these global issues, connect them to the SDGs, and then actually get involved to make a difference.

Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary is always looking for volunteers and advocates. They partner with UGA and the Skidaway Island Oceanographic Institute to provide educational opportunities for students and adults.

Loop It Up Savannah works to provide literacy and arts enrichment for students in our Title I schools. They also partner with local organizations to provide school and community gardens where students can have access to fresh veggies and outdoor education. My students and I have partnered with them in the past, and they are always looking for community partners within our schools.

Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia serves the 131,000 food insecure people in our community by working with over 237 local partners. My students and I volunteer there annually, and many of them go on to become permanent fixtures either at Second Harvest or one of their partner organizations. Their focus is ending hunger, SDG #2, so this is a great way for kids of all ages to get involved.
